How long does ground learning take? How long until I would actually get into an airplane? How much does it cost? Overall how long would it take tp get my pilots liscense?

You could actually take a lesson right now and have an opportunity to take the controls. I took my first flight for my 14th Birthday. It takes a minimum of 40 flight hours to obtain a private pilot license. I am not sure about the duration of the ground school. The cost depends on the type of aircraft you train in. The bigger the plane, the more it costs. You will also have an instructor fee which pays for your teacher's time. Good luck and have a great time!

Lets just say, it takes alot of training.. Most pilots come from like the Air Force and things like that... Have you thought about joining the Air Force? You also have to I believe be over 21 or so before you can attend those class's... Dont be discouraged though;)

This is a good time to start. You do ground training with flying for your PPL. It will cost around 5,500-6,000 US Dollars to get your PPL and atleast 40 hours most people take about 60 hours. You need to be 16 years old to solo and 17 years old to hold a PPL.

Go to your nearest general aviation airport and take a discover flight and see how you like it.

you'd be surprised there young lad. you'll be flying soon. keep to your studies and you'll be above us all!!!!!!!!

In order to get any pilot's licence you have to be AT LEAST 17 years old. You can start taking lessons now but until you take your checkride (final exam) you have to be at least 17.

Ground lessons take as long as you allow them to take. The smarter you are the shorter the length.

You will typically start flying on the 2nd day of your lessons !

To get your PPL (Private Pilot's Licence) costs about $3000 minimum - depending on which aircraft you train in.

You can get your PPL in about 3-5 months if you work hard, and train almost daily.

HERE IS A LINK TO CHECK OUT, TOO MANY VARIABLES, GOOD LUCK http://www.aviationexplorer.com/pilot_license_requirements.htm
