How old do you have to be to take your flying lessons?

would i be able to take them when i am 15 ???

no you foolish boy you have to be an adult (18+) lol but it takes years of training so you will just have to wait a bit

You can solo at 16 and get your private pilots license at 17 years old, best of luck to ya

in singapore, when you are in high school(13), you can join the youth flying club as a co-ciriculum activity. they do flight simulation and built model planes.

That guy is totally wrong. You can take flying lessons now. You just can't solo until you're 16. Go ahead and get started.

No minimum age for lessons. Age minimum for soloing is 14 in gliders. There is no rule about your feet reaching the rudder pedals.

GET STARTED NOW. There isn't really an age limit when it comes to flight school. The rule they use is if your feet can touch the pedals, you can fly. My flight school taught a kid to fly when he was only 7 years old. 15 is like, the best time to start. You can't solo until you're 16, but it should take you from 6 months to a year to get to that point, so it's best you start now.
